All health and cycle data is persisted in a local database on your device. Data is never uploaded to the cloud unless you explicitly choose to export it.
- Data remains on your device and under your control at all times.
- Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all stored data.
- Optional data export produces files that are saved to your device's local storage.

- Notifications — Used to send optional cycle and wellness reminders that you configure. Notification content is designed to be discreet; no sensitive health details are shown on the lock screen.
- Boot Completed — Used to reschedule your reminders after a device restart so you never miss a notification you set up.

- PIN Lock — An optional in-app PIN lock prevents unauthorised access to the app.
- Hidden Notification Previews — Sensitive information is hidden from lock-screen notification previews.
- No Network Communication — Since the app operates entirely offline, your data cannot be intercepted in transit.

CycleCare is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because all data is stored locally and never transmitted, the app does not process children's data on any server.
