Data Processed On Device
- Questions, prompts, pasted text, imported context, and assistant responses are processed on the device.
- Downloaded or imported GGUF model files are stored in the app's private storage.
- Model files are excluded from Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup rules.
Data Sent Off Device
The app uses internet access for:
- User-requested model downloads from Hugging Face.
- User-submitted reports of offensive, unsafe, or incorrect assistant output.
When a user submits an output report, the app sends:
- The assistant output being reported.
- The optional report reason typed by the user.
- The message id, mode, selected model id, app version, build type, and submission time.
The app does not send reports automatically. Reports are sent only after the user taps the report action and submits the in-app report dialog.
Data Not Collected
- No account is required.
- No location data is collected.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or calendar data is collected.
- No prompts are sent to a server for AI generation.
- No ads or advertising identifiers are used.
Deletion Requests
Users can request deletion of submitted reports by contacting support at support@offlinellm.ai.
